Firefighters responded to the following calls Thursday:

* At 5:30 p.m., an electrical short at 236 S. Broadview St.

* At 7:16 p.m., a carbon monoxide alarm at 1820 Lacey St.

* At 7:32 p.m., emergency medical service in the 500 block of Candis Street.

* At 11:53 p.m., emergency medical service in the 600 block of Themis Street.

Firefighters responded to the following calls Friday:

* At 10:50 a.m., emergency medical service in the 1400 block of N. Kingshighway.

* At 1:02 p.m., emergency medical service in the 1400 block of N. Kingshighway.
