Firefighters responded to the following calls Wednesday:

• At 5:13 p.m., a fire alarm at 3120 Independence St.
• At 5:29 p.m., a still alarm at Water and Independence streets.
• At 9:52 p.m., emergency medical service in the 400 block of Houck Place.

Firefighters responded to the following calls Thursday:

• At 2:44 a.m., emergency medical service at Arena Park.
• At 6:58 a.m., emergency medical service in the 3200 block of William Street.
• At 7:08 a.m., emergency medical service at South Kingshighway and William Street.
• At 10:52 a.m., an alarm sounding in the 3400 block of William Street.
• At 1 p.m., a house fire in the 1100 block of South Ellis Street.
• At 1:12 p.m., emergency medical service in the 400 block of South Benton Street.
• At 2:59 p.m., a vehicle fire at 1036 N. Sprigg St.
