Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the following calls.

Aug. 15

• Medical assists were made at 11:14 a.m. on Independence Street; 1:10 p.m. on Independence Street; 1:30 p.m. on Crown Point Drive; and 3:55 p.m. on South Kingshighway.
• Hazardous condition calls were made at 12:32 p.m. on North Fountain Street; 3:17 p.m. on South Sprigg Street; 5:22 p.m. on New Madrid Street; 11:44 p.m. on North Street; and 11:46 p.m. on Broadway.
• At 11:45 a.m., fire alarm on William Street.
• At 7:58 p.m., mutual aid on Interstate 55.
• At 8:24 p.m., commercial fire on William Street.
