Cape Girardeau Fire Department handled multiple medical assists and a fire alarm over August 7-8. Key incidents included responses on North Kingshighway, North Water Street, and Beavercreek Drive.

Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the following calls.
August 7
• Medical assists were made at 9:49 a.m. on North Kingshighway; 12:08 p.m. on North Water Street; and 2:36 p.m. on Siemers Drive.

• At 12:08 a.m., fire alarm on Beavercreek Drive.
August 8
• Medical assists were made at 6:28 a.m. on Montgomery Street; 3:02 p.m. on Perryville Road; and 3:55 p.m. on Green Acres Drive.
• A 2:05 p.m., hazardous condition call on South Benton Street.
• At 3:12 p.m., residential fire on Edgewood Road.
