Firefighters responded to the following calls Friday:

• At 3:36 p.m., emergency medical service at 41 East Rodney Drive.
• At 5:26 p.m., emergency medical service at 2806 Independence St.
• At 7:09 p.m., a truck fire at mile marker 99 on Interstate 55.
• At 8:11 p.m., a grass fire at Southern Expressway and South Kingshighway.
• At 10:29 p.m., emergency medical service at Morgan Oak and South Ellis streets.
• At 10:36 p.m., an illegal burn in the 1200 block of Bloomfield Street.

Firefighters responded to the following calls Saturday:

• At 2:05 a.m., emergency medical service at Capaha Park.
• At 6:54 a.m., a box alarm at 3280 Perryville Road.
• At 7:18 a.m., emergency medical service on Highway 72.
• At 11:01 a.m. an alarm at 3102 Lexington Ave.
• At 11:47 a.m., an alarm on the Mississippi River.
• At 3:34 p.m., emergency medical service in the 200 block of South Mount Auburn Road.
