• At 6:28 p.m., a rescue in the 1000 block of Ranney Avenue.
• At 7:35 p.m., emergency medical service in the 700 block of Ranney Avenue.
• At 8:32 p.m., emergency medical service in the 400 block of North Frederick Street.
• At 11:17 p.m., emergency medical service in the 1800 block of Woodlawn Avenue.

Firefighters responded to the following calls Wednesday:

• At 8:25 a.m., emergency medical service in the 2000 block of Pear Tree Court.
• At 9:11 p.m., emergency medical service in the 2000 block of William Street.
• At 11:21 p.m., emergency medical service in the 3000 block of William Street.
