Firefighters responded to the following calls Friday:

• At 1:15 a.m., emergency medical services in the 100 block of South Sprigg Street.
• At 9 a.m., an alarm sounding in the 3100 block of Independence Street.
• At 9:39 a.m., medical assist in the 500 block of South Sprigg Street.
• At 10:40 a.m., citizen assist in the 3000 block of Aspen Drive.
• At 11:02 a.m., medical assist at 1 Airport Road.
• At 11:35 a.m., vehicle clean-up on Interstate 55 at mile marker 97 southbound.
• At 3:28 p.m., medical assist in the 900 block of Normal Avenue.
• At 4:28 p.m., medical assist in the 3400 block of William Street.
