Firefighters responded to the following calls Wednesday:

• At 4:54 p.m., emergency medical service in the 300 block of North Frederick Street.
• At 5:54 p.m., emergency medical service in the 1400 block of Brookshire Road.
• At 9:45 p.m., emergency medical service in the 700 block of Giboney Avenue.

Firefighters responded to the following calls Thursday:

• At 12:40 a.m., emergency medical service in the 2800 block of Independence Street.
• At 8:06 a.m., an alarm at 928 S. Ellis St.
• At 10:51 a.m., emergency medical service at William and Broadview streets.
• At 10:54 a.m., emergency medical service in the 900 block of Normal Avenue.
• At 1:56 p.m., emergency medical service in the 3000 block of Boutin Drive.
• At 2:08 p.m., emergency medical service in the 1100 block of North Fountain Street.
