Firefighters responded to the following calls Friday:

• At 9 p.m., emergency medical service at North Kingshighway and Interstate 55.
• At 11:23 p.m., emergency medical service in the 100 block of North Main Street.

Firefighters responded to the following calls Saturday:

• At 12:40 a.m., emergency medical service in the 1400 block of Independence Street.
• At 9:22 a.m., a medical assist in the 800 block of Morgan Oak Street.
• At 10:41 a.m., a medical assist in the 200 block of South Lorimier Street.
• At 3:19 p.m., an elevator assist at 611 S. West End Blvd.

Jackson

Firefighters responded to the following calls Friday:

• A call canceled en route on East Jackson Boulevard.
• A call to check well-being on Tanglewood Drive.
