* At 7:08 p.m., emergency medical service in the 600 block of South Sprigg Street.

* At 7:49 p.m., gas odor at Sheridan Drive and Independence Street.

* At 8:55 p.m., emergency medical service in the 3100 block of Independence Street.

Firefighters responded to the following calls Wednesday:

* At 3:26 a.m., alarm sounding in the 100 block of South Pacific Street.

* At 6:05 a.m., emergency medical service in the 1300 block of Margaret Street.

* At 3:09 p.m., first alarm in the 1000 block of North Sprigg Street.
