• At 5:45, a gas call in the 1500 block of Hill Street.
• At 8:29 p.m., emergency medical service in the 1300 block of North Sprigg Street.
• At 8:33 p.m., extrication in the 500 block of West Cape Rock Drive.

Firefighters responded to the following calls Thursday:

• At 12:34 a.m., a Dumpster fire in the 500 block of Cape Meadows Circle.
• At At 1:09 a.m., smell of gas in the 1700 block of Whitener Street.
• At 1:29 a.m., fire alarm on Minnesota Avenue.
• At 3:13 a.m., citizen assist in the 3100 block of Park Place.
• At 11:28 a.m., emergency medical service in the 1400 block of North Mount Auburn Road.
• At 11:42 a.m., emergency medical service in the 100 block of North West End Boulevard.
• At 12:18 p.m., still alarm on Interstate 55.
• At 2:13 p.m., emergency medical service in the 500 block of South Frederick Street.
• At 3:36 p.m., emergency medical service in the 1600 block of Bessie Street.
