* At 5:26 p.m. motor vehicle accident and emergency medical service at Interstate 55 and Shawnee Parkway.

* At 7:49 p.m., emergency medical service in the 500 block of William Street.

Firefighters responded to the following calls Wednesday:

* At 2:03 a.m., emergency medical service in the 1900 block of Perryville Road.

* At 9:20 a.m., emergency medical service in the 1400 block of Perry Road.

* At 10:14 a.m., emergency medical service in the 600 block of North Street.

* At 10:15 a.m., grass fire at Interstate 55.

* At 10:27 a.m., still alarm at 2561 Wild Horse Trail.

* At 10:35 a.m., emergency medical service in the 600 block of South West End Boulevard.

* At 10:39 a.m., emergency medical service in the 3000 block of William Street.

* At 11:17 a.m., emergency medical service in the unit block of South Kingshighway.
