Firefighters responded to the following calls Wednesday:

• At 1:45 p.m., emergency medical service in the 100 block of East Lake Street.
• At 4:46 p.m., smoke odor at 3059 Patriot Drive.
• At 5:07 p.m., motor vehicle accident at Independence Street and North Kingshighway.
• At 5:20 p.m., illegal burn at 2323 Perryville Road.
• At 6:32 p.m., emergency medical service in the 600 block of South West End Boulevard.
• At 7:30 p.m., illegal burn at 2323 Perryville Road.
• At 9:28 p.m., emergency medical service in the 1000 block of Linden Street.

Firefighters responded to the following calls Thursday:

• At 10:02 a.m., emergency medical service in the 1700 block of Paul Revere Drive.
• At 10:42 a.m., emergency medical service in the 200 block of Barberry Street.
• At 11:06 a.m., citizen assist in the 1800 block of William Street.
• At 3:40 p.m., smoke in the residence at 3100 Independence St.
