Firefighters responded to the following calls Wednesday:

* At 4:40 p.m., a motor vehicle accident at Old Sprigg Street Road and Deer Run Trail.

* At 4:51 p.m., emergency medical service in the 200 block of South Kingshighway.

* At 4:56 p.m., a gas odor in the 400 block of Independence Street.

Firefighters responded to the following calls Thursday:

* At 1:33 a.m., emergency medical service in the unit block of North Main Street.

* At 3:07 a.m., emergency medical service in the 300 block of North Kingshighway.

* At 10:41 a.m., emergency medical service in the 500 block of South West End Boulevard.

* At 1 p.m., emergency medical service in the 100 block of South Ellis Street.

* At 2:08 p.m., emergency medical service on Park Drive.
