PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Two Perryville residents were injured in a two-vehicle accident in Perry County Saturday afternoon, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The accident occurred as a 1990 Chevrolet truck driven by Adam Decker, 20, traveling east on Perry County Road 606 collided nearly head-on with a 1997 Mercury Cougar driven by Damien Maness, 17.

Both vehicles were in the center of the roadway, the patrol said.

Maness received moderate injuries; his passenger, 18-year-old Andrea Hanquest, received minor injuries. Both were taken by ambulance to Perry County Hospital.
