Cape Girardeau

The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Alexander K. Walker, 21, of 12 N. Pindwood Lane, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for speeding.

* Wayne D. Windisch, 63, of 925 Mount Auburn Road, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County Court of Appeals warrant for sexual assault.

Assault

* An assault was reported.

Thefts

* Bi-State Gas, 612 S. Sprigg St., reported the theft of gasoline.

* Identity theft, improper registration and driving while suspended were reported at Independence Street and U.S. 61. One person was in custody pending filing of formal charges.

* A 1993 maroon Toyota Corolla was reported stolen on Bellevue Street.

* Stealing and forgery were reported.

Property damage

* A door was reported damaged at 1721 Cape Meadows Circle.

* A vehicle window was reported damaged at 3041 Wisteria Drive.

* A window was reported broken at 536 S. Ellis St.

Miscellaneous

* A dog bite was reported.
