Cape Girardeau

The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

* Harvey Stowe, 39, of West 5th St. in Portageville, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, failure to maintain a single lane, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Arrest

* Lawrence Wesley, 39, was arrested on suspicion of resisting arrest, failure to stop at a stop sign, driving without a license, careless and imprudent driving and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle.

Assault

* Third-degree domestic assault was reported.

Thefts

* Theft was reported at 341 S. Sprigg St.

* Two saws were reported stolen at CSM Properties, 233 N. Middle St.

Property damage

* A glass door was reported broken at 2037 Independence St.

Miscellaneous

* A runaway juvenile was reported at 700 S. Benton St.

* A dog bite was reported at the 2400 block of Bloomfield Road.

* Identity theft was reported at the 1100 block of North Middle Street.
