* David Derran Wyatt, 38, of 216 W. 3rd St., Metropolis, Ill., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for contempt of court, failure to pay fines.

Summonses

* Jerimiah Christopher Collier, of Route 1 Box 214, Cairo, Ill., was issued a summons for possession of a controlled substance.

* Keith Jerome Harris, 38, of 1017 N. Frederick St., was issued a summons for possession of a controlled substance.

Assaults

* Stephen Ray Johnson, 23, of 2020 Robinhood Circle, was arrested for second- and third-degree assault.

* Assault was reported at 620 Commercial Drive.

* Third-degree assault was reported at Ellis and Themis streets.

* Third-degree assault was reported at the 800 block of Morgan Oak Street.

* Domestic assault was reported.

Theft

* Money was reported stolen at 1105 Linden Street.

* Clothing, cologne and jewelry were reported stolen at J.C. Penney, 200 West Park Mall.

* Jewelry was reported stolen at Spencer Gifts, 103 West Park Mall.

* Jewelry and a statue were reported stolen at Romancing the Stone, 134 West Park Mall.

* Gum was reported stolen at the Dollar Tree, 2050 Walton Drive.

* Cologne was reported stolen at Wal Mart, 2051 E. Jackson Blvd.

* Cologne was reported stolen at Goody's, 308 Siemers Drive.

* A purse was reported stolen from 831 S. Kingshighway.

* Gasoline was reported stolen at Amerimart, 865 N. Kingshighway.

Property damage

* Property damage was reported at Jasper's, 1008 N. Kingshighway and a glass door was reported broken.

* Property damage was reported at Arena Park and two vehicle windows were reported broken.

* Property damage was reported at Budget Inn, 1448 N. Kingshighway and windows were reported broken.

* Property damage was reported at Bloomfield Road and Koch Avenue and a vehicle's window was reported broken.

* Property damage was reported at the 200 block of south Spanish Street and a vehicle's window was reported broken.

* Property damage was reported at the 1900 block of David Drive and a vehicle's window was reported broken.

* Property damage was reported at the 400 block of south Missouri Street and a vehicle's window was reported broken.

* Property damage was reported at the 1600 block of Bessie Street and a vehicle's window was reported broken.

* Property damage was reported at Food Giant, 1120 N. Kingshighway, and glass doors were reported broken.

* Property damage was reported at the 200 block of South Louisiana Avenue and a vehicle's window was reported broken.

Miscellaneous

* An ex parte violation was reported at 1800 William Street.

* A 52-year-old female was taken into protective custody at William Street and Siemers Drive.

* Two boys, age 16, a girl, age 16 and a girl, age 15, were referred to juvenile court for curfew violation and minor in possession of alcohol.

* Endangering the welfare of a child was reported.

* A 14-year-old male was referred to juvenile court for being beyond parental control.

* Beyond parental control was reported at the 400 block of Bellevue Street.
