The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWIs

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of driving while intoxicated.

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of driving while intoxicated and was in protective custody.

Arrests

* Brandis A. Burton, 21, 1710 N. Sprigg St., No. 804, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for improper registration and on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for prohibited parking.

* Lela V. Nalley, 37, of Advance, Missouri, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for stealing and on a Stoddard County warrant for probation violation.

* William R. Taylor, 32, 1400 West End Blvd., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for domestic assault.

* Oteasha D. Brandy, 18, 812 Good Hope St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for speeding and on a Jackson warrant for failure to appear for speeding.

* Mark E. Brazel, 42, of Charleston, Missouri, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear.

* Andrew S. Rhodes, 27, of Marble Hill, Missouri, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for speeding.

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of shoplifting at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.

* A 14-year-old girl was taken into custody for being an incorrigible juvenile.

* Dennis G. Merigian, 57, of Grand Rapids, Michigan, was issued a summons for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
