Arrests; Thefts

Cape Girardeau

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Aundra D. Wren, 22, of 2824 Themis St., No. 6, was arrested on three Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear for seat belt, improper registration and driving while suspended.
  • Gary D. Hall, 37, of East Prairie, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for assault.
  • Dennis C. Overbey, 45, of Sikeston, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for improper backing.
  • Daunte J. Smith, 28, of Lilbourn, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of robbery and armed criminal action.
  • Elbridge N. Robinson Jr., 34, of 1003 Locust St., was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault.
  • A 15-year-old boy was cited into juvenile court on suspicion of trespassing.
  • A 13-year-old boy and a 14-year-old boy were cited in juvenile court on suspicion of sexual misconduct.

Thefts

  • A theft of telephone services was reported at 209 S. West End Blvd.
  • A theft of electric line was reported at 1105 S. Benton St.
  • A theft of food was reported at Great Wall Chinese Buffet.
  • A theft of a grill, a purse, a camera and cash was reported at 2346 Broadway.
  • A theft of a catalytic converter was reported at 1906 S. Sprigg St.
  • Jaspers, of 1008 N. Kings-highway, reported a theft of gasoline.

Jackson

The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Thefts

  • A theft was reported in the 600 block of Odus Street.
  • A theft was reported in the 2700 block of Ridge Road.
  • A theft was reported in the 600 block of North Maryland Street.

Peace disturbances

  • A peace disturbance was reported in the 400 block of Broadridge Street.
  • A peace disturbance was reported in the 700 block of Olive Street.
  • A peace disturbance was reported at Elm and Brown streets.
