The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau County Sheriff's Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Kavin Blackmon, 33, of Sikeston, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for passing bad checks.

* Jacqueline Braggs, 41, of Sikeston, Mo., was arrested on a charge of hindering prosecution.

* Sharonda Boyd, 26, of Sikeston, Mo., was arrested for failure to appear in court on charges of failing to return leased or rented property.

* Jerry Summers, 48, of Sikeston, Mo., was arrested on a Scott County warrant for first-degree robbery and passing a bad check.

* Albert Courtis, 47, of Lilbourn, Mo., was arrested on a Scott County warrant for nonsupport.

* Ryan Weeks, 22, of New Madrid, Mo., was arrested on charges of forgery and fraudulently attempting to obtain a controlled substance.

* Dewayne Odell, 38, of Sikeston, Mo., was arrested on charges of distributing and manufacturing a controlled substance.

* Tanya Phillips, 29, of Perryville, Mo., was charged with forgery, identity theft and theft of cable services.

* Wayne Bryan, 42, of Scott City was charged with possession of a controlled substance.

* Sandy Groves, 56, of Sikeston, Mo., was charged with distribution and manufacture of a controlled substance.

* Dana Oliver, 28, of Sikeston, Mo., was arrested on a charge of failing to return leased or rented property.

* Sonja Conner, 39, of New Madrid, Mo., was arrested on a charge of failure to return leased or rented property.

* Anthony Rogers, 26, of Benton, Mo., was arrested on a Scott County warrant for failure to appear in court on a bad check charge, probation violation, tampering, first-degree burglary and second-degree stealing. He also faces charges in Cape Girardeau and New Madrid counties for passing bad checks.

* Xavier Matthews, 39, of Howardsville, Mo., was arrested on a New Madrid County warrant for failure to appear in court on a charge of driving with a revoked license.

* Carl James Jr., 36, of Zalma, Mo., was arrested on a Scott County warrant for non-support.

Summons

* Brandon L. Lewis, 17, of Jackson was issued a summons for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

* Catherine E. Metzger, 51, of 1210 Meadowbrook Drive, was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

* Charles E. Willey, 20, of 2205 W. Jackson Blvd. in Jackson, was arrested on a Stoddard County warrant for probation violation.

* James A. Davis, 48, of Charleston, Mo., was arrested on a Festus Police Department warrant for failure to appear in court and a Mississippi County warrant for failure to pay child support.

Summonses

* Tyoun M. Blissett, 26, of 1523 Elfrink Drive, received a summons for prohibited acts.

Burglary

* A burglary was reported at 2608 Ranchito Drive. Furniture was reported stolen.

* Edge Enterprises, 760 N. Kingshighway, reported a door shattered and computers stolen.

* A burglary and theft of a DVD/ VCR combo was reported at 10 N. West End Blvd.

Thefts

* Sears, 2102 William St., reported DVDs stolen.

* Rhodes 101, 2109 William St., reported gasoline stolen.

* A toolbox, tools, CDs and a cell phone with charger were reported stolen at 1304 Independence St.

* Wal-Mart, 3439 William St,. reported a theft. A suspect was in custody pending filing of formal charges in connection with the complaint.

* Rhodes 101, 1126 N. Sprigg St., reported gasoline stolen.

* Rhodes 101, 449 S. Kingshighway, reported gasoline stolen.

The following items were released Monday by the Southeast Missouri State University Department of Public Safety. Arrests do not imply guilt.

* Lindy Marie Hawkins, 18, of Manchester, Mo., received a summons for posession of a controlled substance.

Assault

* An assault was reported in K dorm.or possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
