Arrests; Thefts

Cape Girardeau

Cape Girardeau police department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • A male juvenile was cited in juvenile court on a Cape Girardeau warrant for resisting arrest.
  • Shaleia K. Payne, 22, of 1400 S. West End Blvd., No. 71, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for contempt of court for failure to pay fine for no driver's license.
  • Stephen A. English, 28, of 609 Broadway, Apt. A, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and driving with a revoked license.
  • A 16-year-old boy was cited in juvenile court for possession by consumption.
  • A suspect is in custody pending formal charges in connection with a robbery.
  • Elic L. Payne, 19, of 1205 S. Ellis St., was arrested on suspicion of driving without a valid license and expired plates.
  • Marcus L. Hill, 52, of 1246 Meadow Brook Lane, was arrested on suspicion of stealing.

Thefts

  • A theft of a coffee can and cash was reported at 1737 Dunklin St.
  • A theft of watches and key was reported at 1019 Harmony St.
  • A laptop was reported stolen and a vehicle window broken at 2205 Earleen St.
  • An iPod was reported stolen and a convertible top damaged at 2581 Saddlegate Court.

Property damage

  • A vehicle window was reported broken at 801 North St.

Jackson

The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Thefts

  • A theft was reported in the 500 block of South Hope Street.
  • A theft was reporting in the 500 block of North Hope Street.

Property damage

  • Property damage was reported in the 1400 block of Hillview Street.
