Murder
Billy Jones Jr., 30, of 338 East Cape Rock Drive, died of gunshot wounds Monday. Jones was shot Sunday at the intersection of Independence and East Rodney.
Arrests
Floyd L. Jones, 45, of 1026 Bloomfield, was arrested Sunday on suspicion of unlawful use of a weapon.
Robert A. Bauer, 29, of 303 West Tennessee, Caraway, Ark.., was arrested Sunday on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear and contempt of court
Lucas W. Daulton, 22, of 3450 Gaines Mill, Springfield, Ill., was arrested Sunday on suspicion of burglary and a Sangamon County, Ill., warrant for burglary, and a Springfield, Ill., warrant for parole violation.
Jason D. Burdin, 24, of 1407 W. Washington, Hayti, Mo., was arrested Monday on a Cape Girardeau warrant for contempt of court.
Lance W. Farrow, 33, of 1057 Patricia, was arrested Sunday on suspicion of stealing.
Michael J. Farrow, 43, of 817 N. Fountain, was arrested Monday on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation and for possession of firearms and ammunition.
Lisa R. Ramsey, 21, of 202 N. Missouri, Oran, Mo., was arrested Monday on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for improper registration.Summons
A summons was issued Sunday to Frank W. Ward, 35, of 2564 Ranchito, on suspicion of peace disturbance and telephone harassment.
A summons was issued Sunday to Michael P. Kays, of 1562 Valley Forge Lane, on suspicion of failing to yield to traffic.
A summons was issued Sunday to Cornelius Johnson, 20, of 2828 Themis, Apt. 8, on suspicion of fleeing lawful detention.
Theft Gasoline was reported stolen Sunday at Citgo D-Mart at 263 Farrar.
Property Damage
A vehicle was reported damaged Sunday at 3102 Westfield.
A vehicle windshield was reported broken Monday at 716 N. Sprigg.
