Cape Girardeau

Cape Girardeau police department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

• Paul R. Gunzenhauser, 51, of 415 Red Oak Drive, Jackson, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

Assault

• A suspect was arrested pending a domestic assault and unlawful use of a weapon charge.

Thefts

• A Smith & Wesson revolver was taken from 1720 Independence St.
• A cell phone was taken from Independence and Main streets.
• A Sony cell phone was taken and a window was damaged on a vehicle at 1705 Whitener St.

Property damage

• The center console of a vehicle was damaged at 210 Louisiana St.

Miscellaneous

• A 50-foot fire hose was found at Broadway and Water Streets.
• A person was taken into protective custody at 45 Minnesota St.

• Burglary reported in the 200 block of South Georgia Street.
