The Cape Giradeau Police department reported the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Timothy J. Booker, 20, of Florissant, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Shannon M. White, 19, of 614 N. High St., Jackson was arrested for suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.

Summons

  • Jeremy L. Taylor, 32, of 2842 Whitner Ave., received a summons for stealing.

Assault

  • A domestic assault was reported. The subject is in custody pending formal charges.

Thefts

  • A theft of jewelry was reported at 546 S. Pacific St.
  • Rhodes 101, 1126 N. Sprigg St., reported a theft of gasoline.
  • A theft of speakers was reported at 3 N. Pacific St.
  • A theft of a purse was reported at 2149 Chesapeake Avenue.
  • A theft of a play station and two controllers was reported at 617 Boxwood Drive.
  • Francine's Gardens, of 28 N. Pacific St., reported a theft of cash.

Property damage

  • A window and screen door were reported damaged at 2149 Chesapeake Ave.

Miscellaneous

  • An 85-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
  • Stalking was reported. The subject was taken into custody pending formal charges.
