Cape Girardeau
The following items were reported by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.
Arrests
- Broshawn D. Egson, 21, of 533 S. Middle St., was arrested on three Cape Girardeau warrants for contempt of court for failure to pay fine and cost for improper registration, display license upon request and insurance identification card required.
- Leonard F. Eplin, 30, of Glenallen, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for rear lights required; a Bollinger County warrant for failure to appear for operating a vehicle while revoked; a Phelps County warrant for failure to appear for fraud/insufficient funds/passing bad checks; a St. Francois County warrant for fraud and insufficient funds; and a Dent County warrant for passing bad checks.
- Ty S. Robinson, 21, of 909 Hackberry St., No. 205, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.
- Dale A. Baker, 324 S. Hanover St., was arrested on a Lawrence County warrant for failure to appear for a traffic offense.
- A subject is in custody pending formal charges of delivering or concealment of a controlled substance on premises of a city correctional center.
- Two 15-year-old girls were cited into juvenile court on suspicion of a peace disturbance.
Assaults
- A domestic assault was reported.
- Two assaults were reported.
Summonses
- Michael L. Burgfeld, 52, of 617 S. Ellis St, received a summons for failure to maintain property free of trash and litter and failure to maintain propety free of high weeds.
- Tyson J. Soemaker, 34, of 711 Normal St., received a summons for a barking dog.
Thefts
- Identity theft was reported.
- A gas can and gasoline was reported stolen at 1100 Perry Ave.
- Jasper's Convenience Store, 10 S. West End Blvd., reported a theft of gasoline.
- Jasper's Convenience Store, 407 Morgan Oak St., reported a theft of gasoline.
- A cell phone and wallet were reported stolen at Independence Street and East Rodney Drive.
- Hucks, 353 S. Kingshighway, reported a theft of gasoline.
- Rhodes 101, 1126 N. Sprigg St., reported a theft of gasoline.
Property damage
- A vehicle was reported damaged at Keller Avenue and Whitener Street.
- A window was reported broken at 1846 Recardo Drive.
- A door latch was reported damaged at 1400 West End Blvd.
- A door facing was reported damaged at 321 Albert St.
