DWI; Arrests; Summonses; Assault; Theft; Property damage; Miscellaneous

The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

  • Edwin Foreman, 20, of 4976 Siebert Drive in St. Louis was issued a summons for suspicion of driving while intoxicated, failure to maintain a single lane, failure to operate a vehicle with headlights and failure to wear a seat belt.

Arrests

  • Michael A. Crane, 18, of 153 Sunrise Drive in Wappapello, Mo., was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear.
  • A subject is in custody pending the filing of formal charges for theft, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Two subjects are in custody pending the filing of formal charges for unlawful use of a weapon, second-degree assault and possession of a controlled substance.

Summonses

  • Travis Scott Verslues, 28, of 423 Hensington Park in Jefferson City, was issued a summons for indecent exposure.
  • Nicholas Berger, 17, of 228 Birch Lane in Perryville, Mo., was issued a summons for theft.

Assault

  • Domestic assault and tampering with a motor vehicle were reported.

Theft

  • A Missouri license plate was reported stolen at 737 Themis St.
  • Theft was reported at Footlocker in West Park Mall.
  • Theft was reported at 329 S. Sprigg St.
  • Theft was reported at 546 S. Sprigg St.

Property damage

  • A vehicle mirror was reported damaged at 815 Bellevue St.
  • A vehicle was reported damaged.

Miscellaneous

  • Sexual misconduct involving a child was reported.
  • A cashiers check was reported found at McDonald's, 3419 William St.
  • Endangering the welfare of a child was reported.
  • Violation of a full order of protection was reported.
  • A subject was taken into protective custody.
  • Harassment was reported at 614 Sycamore Circle.
