Cape Girardeau

The following items were reported by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

  • Amy E. Ryan, 22, of 2808 Themis St., No. 2, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and failure to maintain a single lane.

Arrests

  • Sandra A. Harris, 36, of 1704 Bloomfield Road, was arrested on a Ste. Genevieve County warrant for failure to appear for traffic violation.
  • Joseph A. Akens III, 27, of 2057 Big Bend Road, was arrested on four Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear for improper registration, no seat belt, suspended operator's license and no insurance.
  • Janey M. Stoner, 17, of Dexter, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of stealing.
  • A girl was cited into juvenile court on suspicion of stealing.
  • A suspect is in custody pending formal charges on suspicion of driving while suspended/revoked or denied, possession of prohibited weapon, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • A suspect is in custody pending formal charges on suspicion of operating a motor vehicle while revoked.
  • Freddie L. Duncan, 22, of Sikeston, Mo., was arrested on a Scott County warrant for failure to appear for sexual misconduct and a Sikeston warrant for contempt of court for failure to pay fines.
  • Tyler P. Hawn, 42, of 1673 Westwood St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation.
  • Tamry J. Wickware, 17, of 2209 Melrose Ave., was arrested on suspicion of false report/fire alarm.

Assault

  • A domestic assault/unlawful use of a weapon was reported.

Summons

  • Clarice R. Shannon, 30, of 630 N. Fountain St., received a summons for failure to maintain property free of trash and litter.

Thefts

  • Bi-State Southern, 612 S. Sprigg St., reported a theft of gasoline.
  • Rhodes 101, 1126 N. Sprigg St., reported a theft of gasoline.
  • A burglary, unlawful use of a weapon and robbery/stealing were reported at 1430 Independence St.

Property damage

  • Kiefner Brothers Construction Inc., 1459 N. Kingshighway, reported padlocks and hasps damaged at 817 S. Mount Auburn Road.
  • A staircase was reported damaged at 1003 S. Pacific St.

Miscellaneous

  • A 19-year-old woman was taken into protective custody.
  • Stolen property was reported recovered at 740 S. Kingshighway.
  • Trespassing was reported.
  • A forgery was reported.
