The following items were reported by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Nathan D. Jones, 18, of 101 S. Lorimier St., No. 3, was arrested on suspicion of assault and resisting or interfering with arrest.
  • Shannon R. Bancy, 26, of Jackson was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for speeding.
  • Christopher A. Harrington, 20, of St. Louis was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for disorderly house.
  • Jeffrey S. Grant, 22, of 1429 Henderson Ave., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for probation violation for forgery/stealing.
  • Patricia A. Cox, 42, of 422 Bellevue St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear for stealing/resisting arrest and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • A suspect is in custody pending filing of formal charges on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Kittrell E. Braselman, 44, of 423 S. Hanover St., was arrested on Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to pay fines and costs for possession of drug paraphernalia and contempt of court for failure to pay fines and costs for stealing.
  • Christina E. Copen, 31, of 1112 Ranney Ave., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear for stealing.
  • Sheraton M. Lockridge, 17, of 800 S. Ellis St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation.

Thefts

  • Rhodes 101, 1126 N. Sprigg St., reported three incidents of gasoline theft.
  • Port Cape Girardeau, 19 N. Water St., reported a robbery.
  • An iPod, sunglasses and cash were reported stolen and a vehicle window reported damaged at Themis and Water streets.
  • Rhodes 101, 1624 Kingshighway, reported a theft of gasoline.
  • A black trailer was reported stolen at 623 S. Silver Springs Road.
  • Prestige Enterprise, 2004 Themis St., reported a theft of tools.
  • A purse was reported stolen at 416 North St., Apt. A.
  • Cape Video, 510 Broadway, reported a failure to return rental property.
  • A purse was reported stolen.

Property damage

  • A front office window was reported damaged at 907 Broadway.
  • Property damage was reported at 324 Broadway.

Miscellaneous

  • Property was reported found at 40 S. Sprigg St.
  • Telephone harassment was reported.
  • Negligent burning was reported at 1100 S. Sprigg St.
  • Telephone harassment was reported.
  • Unlawful use of a weapon was reported.
