Cape Girardeau

The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests Kristy M. Jones of Cape Girar-deau and Brittney N. Vonnida of Thebes, Ill., were arrested Saturday on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.

Theft A vehicle was reported stolen Sunday at 2100 Big Bend Road.

Famous-Barr reported a theft Sunday at 100 West Park Mall. A juvenile was taken into custody on the complaint.

A burglary was reported Saturday at 19 S. Pacific. Cash was reported stolen.

Property damage

Holiday Lodge at 1918 N. Kingshighway reported a damaged door lock and frame Sunday.

Miscellaneous

A man was taken into custody Sunday at Benton and Bloomfield roads for unlawful use of a weapon. Formal charges have not been filed.

A boy's Murray 10-speed mountain climber bike was found at 400 Broadway Sunday.

An animal bite was reported Saturday.
