Cape Girardeau: Arrests; Summons; Assaults; Thefts; Burglary; Miscellaneous

Cape Girardeau

The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Jessie J. Boyer, 26, of 836 N. Sprigg St., No. 5, was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault and property damage.
  • Alisha D. Snider, 29, of 1600 Independence St., was arrested on two warrants for failure to appear for a suspended operator's license and on a state probation and parole warrant for being a parole absconder.
  • A subject was in custody pending filing of formal charges for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Durk L. Graham, 17, of 921 Hackberry Lane, No. 207, was arrested on suspicion of possessing drug paraphernalia.
  • Anthony L. Taylor, 21, of 233 Welters, Sikeston, Mo., was arrested on a warrant for probation violation for driving with a suspended license.
  • Erinn M. Steinbeck, 26, of 425 Downing, Florissant, Mo., was arrested on three warrants for failure to pay fines for two seat belt violations.
  • Jesse V. Dorris, 37, of 1332 N. Spanish St., was arrested on two warrants for contempt of court and for failure to pay fines for false declarations and possession of a controlled substance.
  • Patricia A. Cox, 42, of 422 Bellevue St. B, was arrested on two warrants for contempt of court for failure to appear and for no insurance and failure to notify of an accident.

Summons

  • Russell G. Yarbro, 43, of 809 S. Pacific St., received a summons for knowingly burning.

Assaults

  • Two domestic assaults were reported.

Thefts

  • A wallet was reported stolen at 1000 S. Silver Springs Road. Hank P. Hurt, 18, of 1400 S. West End Blvd., received a summons in connection with the complaint.
  • Cape Girardeau Public Schools reported the theft of a computer at 1080 S. Silver Springs Road.
  • An iPod and a cellular telephone were reported stolen in Kiwanis Park.

Burglary

  • A burglary was reported at 943 Bellevue St. A television, an entertainment center, a PlayStation with two controllers, a memory card and games were reported stolen.

Miscellaneous

  • Interference with child custody was reported.
  • A 49-year-old man was placed in protective custody.
  • A 13-year-old girl was cited into juvenile court as being beyond parental control.
