Cape Girardeau
The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.
Arrests
* William J. Johnson, 21, of 821 Locust St., was arrested on suspicion of traffic violations and false declaration.
* A subject was taken into custody, pending filing of formal charges for driving while revoked.
* James A. Young, 35, of 119 N. Union Ave., Jackson, was arrested on a Ste. Genevieve County warrant for failure to appear for driving while revoked and speeding and on an Arnold Police Department warrant for failure to appear for failure to drive in a single lane.
* Jackee M. Nicholson, 26, of 100 S. West End Blvd., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to pay fines for animal neglect.
* Jamie Lynn Vaughn, 24, of 121 E. Rodney Drive, Apt. B2, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for improper registration and seat-belt violation, and on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear for improper registration.
* Chimeca D. Deberry, 32, fo 1447 Themis St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to pay fines for prohibited acts noise disturbance.
* Brandee R. Young, 25, of 610 Old Cape Road, Jackson, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for trial for failure to yield right of way.
* Heather A. Brown, 17, of 409 N. Shawnee Ave., Apt. A, Jackson, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for probation violation for stealing.
* John E. Chappell, 21, of 1000 Towers Circle, No. 908, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for speeding, a seat-belt violation, a suspended operator's license and no insurance.
* A subject was in custody pending filing of formal charges for suspicion of marijuana possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.
* Charles W. Williams, 18, of Thebes, Ill., was arrested on suspicion of first-degree robbery, first degree assault, armed criminal action and resisting arrest.
Summons
* Herbert C. Gamble, 56, of Petal, Miss., was issued a summons for failure to secure load.
Assaults
* Assault was reported.
* Assault and property damage were reported.
Thefts
* A wallet was reported stolen at 812 N. Missouri Ave.
* A red-and-silver bicycle was reported stolen at 711 Clark Ave.
* A checkbook and holder were reported lost at 1112 Linden St.
* Robbery was reported.
Miscellaneous
* A blue bicycle was reported found at McKenna Drive and Main Street.
* A 43-year-old man was reported missing.
