Arrests

Kitty D. Durbin, 40, of 207 E. Monroe, Jackson, was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of allowing an unlicensed driver to drive and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Margie M. Wheatley, 37, of 105 Lillian Drive, Sikeston, Mo., was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of allowing an unlicensed driver to drive.

Adrian D. Clayton, 18, of 105 Lillian Drive, Sikeston, Mo., was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of operating a motor vehicle without a license.

Willie Higgs, 29, of 3001 Themis, Apt. F, was arrested Wednesday on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to pay a fine and resisting/interfering with an arrest.Summonses

John O. Pursell of 385 County Road 391, Whitewater, received a summons Tuesday for following another vehicle too closely.

Joel J. Montgomery of 1932 Preston, Kennett, Mo., received a summons Tuesday for striking a legally stopped vehicle.

Adam J. Swofford of 1547 Belair, Apt. 29, Jackson, received a summons Tuesday for striking a legally stopped vehicle.

Assaults A 14-year-old male was cited to juvenile court Tuesday for assault and unlawful use of a weapon.

An assault was reported Tuesday to the Cape Girardeau Police Department.

Thefts A purse and its contents were reported stolen Tuesday at 1017 Independence.

A CD player and stereo equipment were reported stolen Tuesday at 11 Village Drive.

A CD player with a remote and assorted CDs were reported stolen Tuesday at 1318 N. Sprigg.

A bag containing a DVD player, DVDs and books was reported stolen Tuesday at 605 Red Bud Circle.

A television was reported stolen Wednesday by Mobile Home World at 902 S. Kingshighway.

Burglaries

Money was reported stolen Tuesday in a burglary at 602 S. Kingshighway.

A DVD player was reported stolen Tuesday in a burglary at 909 Jefferson.

A burglary was reported Wednesday by Ferrell Mobile Home at 890 S. Kingshighway.Property damage

A light pole owned by the city of Cape Girardeau was reported damaged Tuesday at Route K and St. Francis Drive.

Miscellaneous Express Rent to Own reported a failure to return rental property Tuesday at 320 S. Sprigg.

A counterfeit $20 bill was reported Wednesday by Petco at 266 Siemers.

A counterfeit $20 bill was reported Wednesday by Hastings at 2136 William.

Miscellaneous An abandoned vehicle was reported Tuesday in the 2400 block of Brittany.

A report of a parking violation was made Tuesday in the 100 block of Court Street.

Illegal dumping was reported Tuesday in the 3500 block of East Jackson Boulevard.

A ladder was reported lost Tuesday on Greensferry Road.

A suspicious person was reported Tuesday in the 200 block of Elmwood Boulevard.
