Cape Girardeau

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

• Jesse C. Phillips, 26, 3002 Aspen Drive, unit D, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for probation violation.
• A suspect is in custody pending formal charges on suspicion of unlawful use of a weapon.
• A suspect is in custody pending formal charges on suspicion of assault of a law enforcement officer.
• A suspect is in custody pending formal charges on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and driving while revoked.
• Clinton S. Hopkins, 27, 51 Hazel Drive, No. 10, was arrested on a Kennett, Mo., warrant for no operator's license and a Cape Girardeau County warrant for domestic assault.
• A 14-year-old boy was cited into juvenile court for truancy.

Assaults

• An assault was reported.

Theft

• A lawn chair, plant stand and night light were reported stolen at 739 Themis St.

Property damage

• A damaged window was reported at 907 Illinois Ave.
• Scratches on a vehicle were reported at 611 West End Blvd.
• Blimpie, 1001 Broadway, reported a wall spray painted.
