Cape Girardeau

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

• A subject is in custody pending formal charges of failing to obey traffic control device.
• Two 15-year-old girls were cited in juvenile court in connection with a peace disturbance.
• Heather A. Brown, 19, of Jackson was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for probation violation for stealing.
• Kyle R. Rhodes, 21, 533 County Road 325, was arrested on two Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear for improper registration and seat-belt violation.

Assaults

• A 13-year-old boy was cited in juvenile court in connection with assault.

Thefts

• A dog was reported stolen at 2127 Good Hope St.
• Hot Spot, 400 Morgan Oak St., reported a theft of gasoline.

Miscellaneous

• A forgery was reported.
• A 58-year-old man was placed in protective custody.
