The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

David N. Fager of 4765 Kimmel Bridge Road, Murphysboro, Ill., was arrested Sunday on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and striking a legally parked vehicle.Arrests

Amy M. Derossett, 22, of 768 W. Rodney, was arrested Sunday on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for passing bad checks.

Kim D. Bushman, 51, was arrested Sunday on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation, a Chaffee, Mo., warrant for contempt of court, and a Scott City, Mo., warrant for failure to appear.

A 21-year-old female was placed into protective custody Sunday.

Brenda D. Hail, 36, of 709 North Street, Apt.. 4, was arrested Sunday on a Cape Girardeau warrant for contempt of court.

A 19-year-old male was placed in protective custody Monday.

A 47-year-old male was placed in protective custody Monday.

Steve Carter, 34, of 319 S. Hanover, was arrested Monday on a Pemiscot County warrant for failure to appear.

Summonses

Cora J. Hall of 604 S. Ellis received a summons Monday for littering from a vehicle.Assaults

Jerry D. Dabbs, 20, of Mill Creek, Ill., was arrested Sunday on suspicion of assault, trespassing and resisting arrest.

A domestic assault was reported Sunday to the Cape Girardeau Police Department.

Thefts

Stealing was reported Sunday to the Department of Public Safety at Southeast Missouri State University.

A stolen red 1991 Ford Probe was reported recovered Sunday at 333 N. Frederick.

A bicycle was reported stolen Monday at 129 S Louisiana.Property damage

A vehicle was reported damaged Sunday at 1808 Weissinger.

Property damage was reported Monday at 45 S. Kingshighway.

A sign was reported damaged Monday at Carolewood and Kage.

Miscellaneous A mirror was found Sunday at 3257 William.

A 12- and 16-year-old male were reported as runaways Monday and were cited to juvenile court.

DWI Paul J. Chatman, 40, of 224 S. Lorimier, Apt. 6, received a summons Sunday on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, failure to drive in a single lane and speeding.

Assaults

Assault was reported twice Thursday at 210 N. West Lane.

A domestic dispute was reported Sunday at 1240 Oak Street.

Thefts

A theft from a motor vehicle was reported Thursday at 315 S. Missouri Street.

A theft was reported Saturday at 509 Greensferry Road.

Burglary

A burglary was reported Sunday at 402 W. Main Street.Property damage
