Cape Girardeau

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Brandon T. Johnston, 22, of 1153 Landgraf Drive, was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault.
  • Mark C. Johnstone, 19, of 205 Western, Scott City, was arrested on suspicion of possession of alcohol by a minor, unlawful use of a license and false report.
  • Stephen I. Sonderman, 23, of 6200 Tholozan, St. Louis, was arrested on Cape Girardeau warrants for DWI, improper lane usage, suspended operator's license, failure to appear for a seat belt violation and failure to appear for indecent exposure.
  • A subject is in custody pending formal charges on suspicion of driving while revoked, no insurance, no rear license plate light and being a minor in possession of alcohol.
  • Clarence E. Geiger III, 17, of 1126 S. Ellis St., was arrested on suspicion of possession of intoxicants by a minor.
  • Curtis A. Brown, 20, of 3007 Themis St., Apt. B was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for probation violation for stealing.

Summonses

  • Clemmie L. Lane, of 3018 Mimosa Drive, Apt. 1, was issued a summons for failure to maintain property free of trash and litter.
  • Shalonda D. Snider, of 901 S. Benton St., was issued a summons for animal neglect.
  • Daniel C. Lance, 20, of 305 12th St., Scott City, was issued a summons on suspicion of possession of alcohol by a minor.

Thefts

  • Rent One Store reported the failure to return a rented laptop computer.
  • Missouri license plates were reported stolen at 1853 Carolina Lane.
  • Kidds, 103 N. Kingshighway, reported gasoline stolen.
  • A sawzall was reported stolen at 214 N. Louisiana Ave.
  • Rhodes 101, 1126 N. Sprigg St., reported gasoline stolen.

Assault

  • Domestic assault was reported.

Miscellaneous

  • Protective custody was reported.
  • Forgery, identity theft and stealing were reported.
  • Failure to maintain property was reported.
  • Harassment was reported.
  • Dominoes Pizza reported a forged check at 429 Themis St.
  • Tampering was reported.
  • A subject is in custody pending filing of formal charges on suspicion of ex parte violation and property damage.
  • A 16 year old girl was cited into juvenile court on suspicion of running away.

Jackson

The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Keith W. Smith, 43, of 4077 County Road 553 was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, DWI, drugs and an improper turn.

Stealing

  • A theft was reported in the 2200 block of Whitney Jean Drive.
  • A burglary was reported in the 2000 block of Country Club Place.

Assault

  • An assault was reported in the 100 block of Deal Court.
  • An assault was reported on Greensferry Road.

Property Damage

  • Property damage was reported on Main Street.

Miscellaneous

  • A court order violation was reported on South Hope Street.
  • A disturbance was reported in the 1300 block of South Farmington Road.
  • Peace disturbance was reported in the 400 block of Springview.
  • Harassment was reported in the 600 block of North Ohio Street.
  • A domestic dispute was reported in the 300 block of East Jackson Boulevard.
  • A domestic dispute was reported in the 900 block of Old Cape Road.
