Cape Girardeau

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Olajuwon C. Lane, 21, 3001 Mimosa St., Apt. 4, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for contempt of court for failure to pay fine for stop-sign violation and on a Miner, Mo., warrant for failure to appear.
  • Shannon M. Adams, 18, of Fruitland was arrested on two Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear for revoked operator's license and failure to appear for motor vehicle financial responsibility.
  • A subject is in custody pending formal charges of domestic assault, unlawful use of weapon, sexual misconduct and endangering the welfare of a child.
  • A subject is in custody pending charges of stealing.
  • Caroline Young Eom, 27, of 3308 Lakewood Drive, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for seat-belt violation.

Summons

  • Sharnette Hiller, 34, 419 Louis St., was issued a summons for an unregistered vehicle

Assaults

  • A domestic assault was reported.

Burglary

  • A burglary was reported.

Thefts

  • Jaspers, 10 S. West End Blvd., reported a theft of gasoline.
  • A meter box was reported stolen at 749 Enterprise St.
  • A computer and monitor were reported stolen at 216 S. Lorimier St.
  • A pair of shoes was reported stolen.

Property damage

  • A vehicle was reported damaged at 502 S. Hanover St.
  • Tires were reported cut at 3219 William St.

Miscellaneous

  • A 53-year-old man was placed in protective custody.
  • A 56-year-old man was placed in protective custody.
  • A 24-year-old woman was placed in protective custody.
  • A 43-year-old man was placed in protective custody.
  • Failure to maintain property free of litter was reported.
  • A Division of Family Services assist was reported.
  • Harassing phone calls were reported.
