The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWIs

  • Katherine Elizabeth Galliers, 20, of 1000 Towers Circle, Apt. 308, was arrested for suspicion of driving while intoxicated, minor in possession and speeding.
  • A 40-year-old man was arrested pending the filing of formal charges for suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

Arrests

  • Amanda Sue Hopper, 17, of 201 N. 5th St. in Charleston, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of stealing clothing at J.C. Penney, 200 West Park Mall.
  • Bradley Allen Crowden, 26, of 2819 Whitener, Apt. 4, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear.

Assault

  • A subject is in custody pending the filing of formal charges for assault and unlawful use of a weapon at 333 N. Pacific St.

Summons

  • Matthew Cody Jackson, 20, of 1258 County Road 603 in Jackson, was issued a summons for property damage at Collegewood Apartments, 807 N. Sprigg St.

Theft

  • Gasoline was reported stolen from Rhodes Convenience Store, 546 S. Sprigg St.
  • A 15-year-old boy was cited into juvenile court on suspicion of stealing DVDs at Kmart, 11 S. Kingshighway.
  • A BIC lighter was reported stolen at 210 S. Hanover St.
  • Theft was reported at Home Loan Servicing, 514 Louis St.
  • A cell phone was reported stolen at 430 N. Frederick St.

Miscellaneous

  • A 45-year-old man was taken into protective custody at the 1100 block of Broadway.
  • A 36-year-old man was taken into protective custody at 1927 N. Kingshighway.
  • A checkbook was reported lost at 13 Doctors' Park.
  • A US Bank envelope with titles and coin change was reported found at 40 S. Sprigg St.
  • Statutory rape was reported.
