Cape Girardeau

The Cape Girardeau Police Department reported the following incidents. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

• Sheila Kaye Mercer, 48, 3821 Fawn Drive, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, careless and imprudent driving and failure to maintain single lane.
• Elizabeth Paige Adkisson, 20, 2565 W. Highway 80, East Prairie, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and failure to drive in the right half of the roadway.

Arrests

• Alexander Kyle Walker, 23, 147 Tomahawk Lane, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear for no seat belt.
• Kevin Dewayne Shepard, 36, 2630 Valleycrest Court, Poplar Bluff, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure.
• James Reco Dubose Jr., 20, 6136 Silver Fox Court, Florissant, Mo., was arrested on two Cape Police Department warrants for failure to appear.

Assaults

• An assault was reported.

Theft

• A license plate was reported stolen at 116 N. Spring Ave.

Miscellaneous

• An ex parte violation was reported.
• A 42-year-old woman was taken into protective custody.
• A peace disturbance was reported at 19 S. Kingshighway.
• A runaway juvenile was reported.
• A 44-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
• A 25-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
