The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests Chad W. Volger, 36, of 17120 Delhi Farms Road, Jerseyville, Ill., was arrested Monday on a Madison County, Ill., warrant for probation violation.

Christopher M. Slinkard, 27, of 1113 N. Fountain, Cape Girardeau, was arrested Monday on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear.

Shawn E. Barnes, 32, of 306 W. Mine La Motte, Fredericktown, Mo., was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of assault.

Anthony G. Elbrecht, 21, of 943 Bellevue, Cape Girardeau was arrested Tuesday on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation.

Thefts CD cases, CDs and PlayStation games were reported stolen Monday at 604 Jefferson.

Gasoline was reported stolen Monday by Hucks at 353 S. Kingshighway.

Deposit slips were reported stolen Monday at 889 N. Kingshighway.

A bicycle was reported stolen Monday at 1814 Good Hope.

A coat was reported stolen Tuesday at 1507 Independence.

A Missouri license plate bearing 550-MH1 was reported stolen Tuesday at 889 N. Kingshighway.

A vehicle window was reported broken and a purse stolen Tuesday at the 100 block of Spanish.

Property Damage

Windows were reported damaged Monday at 300 N. Kingshighway.

A vehicle was reported damaged Tuesday at 2843 Whitener.Miscellaneous

Tampering was reported Monday at 1428 Whitener.
