The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests J.C. Lamar Brown, 23, of 1210 S. Sprigg, Cape Girardeau, was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of speeding and driving without a license.

Herman J. Gardner, 23, of 303 Ashley Drive, Sikeston, Mo., was arrested Tuesday on a Cape Girardeau warrant for contempt of court.

Marcus L. McKinley, 27, of 45 S. West End Blvd., Apt. 101, Cape Girardeau, was arrested Wednesday on Cape Girardeau warrants for contempt of court and a Cape Girardeau County warrant for contempt of court.

Assaults Robert K. Scott, 39, no current address, was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of assault.

Jeannette L. Zuniga, 30, of 52 Savoya St., Monterey, Mexico, was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of assault.

Thefts Gasoline was reported stolen Tuesday by CRS at 102 Mason.

Medication was reported stolen Tuesday at 1260 Linden.

Miscellaneous items were reported stolen Tuesday at Broadway and Water.

A motorcycle helmet was reported stolen Wednesday at 1751 Independence.

A cell phone was reported stolen Wednesday at 912 Karau Ln.

Burglary An attempted burglary was reported Tuesday at 3117 Mimosa. Nothing was taken, but screens were reported damaged.

Property Damage

A vehicle was reported damaged Tuesday at 1014 Oak Ridge Court.

Tires were reported damaged Tuesday at 103 N. Clark.

A vehicle was reported damaged Tuesday at the 300 block of Park.

A soda machine was reported damaged Wednesday by Pepsi Mid America at 205 Caruthers.

A peace disturbance was reported Tuesday at the 300 block of East Jackson Boulevard.

Harassment was reported Tuesday in the 500 block of West Main.
