Cape Girardeau

The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrest

* Sharnette Hiler, 32, of 409 Louis St. was arrested on a Scott County warrant for failure to appear in court and for no valid license.

Summonses

* Valeria F. Clark, 47, of 318 N. Sprigg St., Apt. 1, was issued a summons for a violation of the leash law.

* Alexander S. Harris, 17, of 1204 Bloomfield St. was issued a summons for walking in the street.

Thefts

* Stealing was reported at 1110 W. Mount Drive.

* A boat motor was reported stolen at 2217 Broadway.

* A cell phone, checkbook, credit cards and cash were reported stolen at 121 S. Sprigg St.

* A Cingular wireless phone was reported stolen at 1131 N. Kingshighway.

* A Chevrolet with Missouri license D641AX was reported stolen from Coad at 517 S. Kingshighway.

* J.C. Penney at 200 West Park Mall reported clothing taken. Three juvenile girls were cited in juvenile court in connection with the crime.

Property damage

* A bicycle was reported damaged at 518 S. Ellis St.

Miscellaneous

* A suspect was in custody for unlawful use of a firearm.

Jackson

Summons

* Nathan K Shumpert, 19, of 258 D Street, Lot 93, Cape Girardeau, was issued a summons for careless and imprudent conduct.

Property damage

* Vandalism was reported in the 700 block of Gerald Street.

Miscellaneous

* A child custody dispute was reported in the 600 block of Jackson Trail.

* A firework violation was reported in the 1200 block of East Main Street.

* Trespassing was reported on Emma Street.
