DWIs

Anton Shamon Miller, 24, of 12037 S. Perry, Chicago, Ill., was arrested Monday on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and prohibited acts.

Terry Gene Umfleet Sr., 46, of 630 North St., Cape Girardeau, was arrested Saturday on a state warrant for driving while intoxicated, failure to register a vehicle, no insurance and permitting an unlicensed driver to operate a vehicle.

A suspect was placed in custody Sunday pending filing of formal charges for driving while intoxicated.Arrest

Nancy Elizabeth Merchant, 38, of 45 S. West End Blvd., Apt. 408, Cape Girardeau, was arrested Sunday on a state warrant for endangering the welfare of a child.

Burglaries

A burglary was reported Sunday at 1701 Lacey. Kristopher Edward Ponzar, 29, of 622 Broadway, Apt. A, Cape Girardeau, was arrested on suspicion of connection with the complaint.

A burglary was reported Monday at 374 N. Park.

A bicycle, television, furniture and stereo were reported stolen Sunday during a burglary at 224 N. Park.

A burglary and property damage were reported Sunday to the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Three boys, ages 7 and 9, were cited to juvenile custody on the complaint.Thefts

Cash was reported stolen Monday at Family Touch Inc.

Food and gasoline was reported stolen Sunday at Rhodes 101, 10 S. West End Blvd.

A stereo was stolen and vehicle reported damaged Monday at 1918 Dunklin.

A tool was reported stolen Sunday at 537 S. Hanover.

A cassette player was reported stolen Sunday at 417 Marroseann.

Two bicycles were reported stolen Monday at 325 N. Sprigg.

Property damage

A vehicle was reported damaged Sunday at 103 N. Clark.

A brick wall was reported spray-painted with graffiti Monday at Vascular Diagnostic Specialists, 1834 Broadway.

Knowingly burning was reported Sunday at Heartland Industries, 1310 Southern Expressway.

Jodie Martin, 23, of 110 Magnolia, Marble Hill, Mo., was arrested Saturday on suspicion of third-degree assault.

Michael Chambers, 22, of 1927 N. Kingshighway, Apt. 19, Cape Girardeau, was arrested Saturday on suspicion of aggravated assault.

JJ Cooper, 19, of 302 N. Hope St., Jackson, was arrested Sunday on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for third-degree assault.Assault
