Arrests

* David E. Sanders, 41, of Whitewater, was arrested for resisting arrest by flight.

* Armond D. Taylor, 26, of 212 S. Lorimier St., was arrested on two Cape Girardeau County warrants for probation violation.

* Corrine E. Mack, 34, of Sikeston, Mo., was arrested on two Cape Girardeau warrants for contempt of court for failure to pay fine and cost for stealing and failure to appear for probation revocation on a theft charge.

* Otis D. Rutherford, 19, of 630 S. Benton St., was arrested on a Sikeston warrant for contempt of court for disorderly conduct.

* Dana M. Bookwalter, 31, of 3020 Boutin Drive, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for passing bad checks.

Summonses

* Chelsea K. Burns, 17, of 194 Scenic View Lane, received a summons on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.

* Juanita Artis, 38, of Scott City, and Petula C. Landfair, 37, of 624 Louis St., both received a summons on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia and operating a vehicle with improper registration.

* Evan S. Batterton, 23, of 721 S. Sprigg St., received a summons on suspicion of a leash law violation.

* Israel Carattini, 47, of 605 Mechaw Drive, received a summons on suspicion of illegal dumping.

Assaults

* Two people were in custody pending formal charges for assault.

* Assault and property damage was reported.

* Assault of a law enforcement officer, tampering, possession of crack cocaine, resisting arrest, failure to stop at a stop sign, operating a vehicle without a license, leaving the scene of an accident and no seat belt was reported at 412 S. Hanover St. One person was in custody in connection with the complaint.

* Two assaults were reported.

Thefts

* A Missouri license plate was reported stolen at 115 N. Fountain St.

* A red flat bed was reported stolen at 2427 Lexington Ave.

* Three incidents of cash stolen were reported at 10 S. West End Blvd.

* A stereo system was reported stolen at 430 N. Frederick St. Richard J. McIntyre, 23, of 429 N. Frederick St., received a summons in connection with the complaint.

* A 1978 Chevrolet truck was reported stolen at 1208 Cape Rock Drive.

* A cell phone was reported stolen at 2147 William St.

* A purse was reported stolen at 1203 Lacey St.

Burglary

* A $2 bill in a frame was reported stolen in a burglary at 212 S. Lorimier St.

* An attempted burglary was reported.

Property damage

* Property damage was reported at 909 Hackberry St.

Miscellaneous

* Three incidents of fraudulent use of a credit device were reported.

* A dog bite was reported.

* Forgery was reported.

Jackson

The following items were released by the Jackson Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrest

* Kelly M. Seabaugh, 27, was arrested on suspicion of a peace disturbance.

Summons

* Cynthia I. May, 33, of 136 David Drive, received a summons for failure to stop at a posted stop sign.

Theft

* A theft was reported in the 5200 block of Lexington Drive.

Southeast Missouri State University

The following items were released by the Southeast Department of Public Safety. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Summons

* Jacob N. Dufek, 19, of 835 Karau Lane, received a summons on suspicion of possession of marijuana.
