Arrests
* Eric L. Bryant, 40, 1667 Westwood Drive, was arrested on suspicion of second-degree burglary.
* John A. Parker, 27, 1523 N. Spanish St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau municipal warrant for contempt of court, failure to pay cost and fines for failure to appear, probation violation and revoked operators license.
Summonses
* Melissa A. Sides, 25, 337 S. Sprigg St., was issued a summons on suspicion of property damage.
* Scott Wayne Wright, 39, 280 Shady Brook Drive, was issued a summons on suspicion of maintaining a nuisance.
* Jessica Marie McFarland, of Sunset Hills, Mo., was issued a summons on suspicion of following too closely.
* Steven Joseph Molengraft, of Marble Hill, Mo., was issued a summons on suspicion of failing to yield.
Theft
* A camera phone was reported stolen at 341 S. Sprigg St.
* Second-degree burglary was reported at 426 N. Frederick St.
* A Sony PlayStation 2 was reported stolen from 1105 S. Benton St.
* Clothing and DVDs were reported stolen at 492 Green Acres Drive.
* A lawn mower was reported stolen from 12 N. Middle St.
* An X-Box, DVDs, TV and speakers were reported stolen from 1304 Dunklin St.
Property Damage
* A wall was reported painted at Parkview State School, 1020 Parkway.
Miscellaneous
* An ex parte violation was reported.
* Child abuse was reported.
* A 23-year-old male was taken into protective custody.
* Second-degree statutory rape was reported.
* A dog bite was reported.
* An ex parte violation was reported.
* Forgery was reported at Check Please Inc., 78 S. Plaza Way.

The Jackson Police Department released the following items Monday. Arrests do not imply guilt.
DWI
* Timmy Ellison, 41, of Jackson was issued a summons on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and speeding.
Arrests
* Thomas Dreesen, 45, of Jackson was arrested on a Jackson municipal warrant for failure to appear.
* Antonio Cortez Kunz, 18, of Jackson was arrested on a Jackson municipal warrant for failure to appear.
