DWI
Matthew R. Hittmeier, 22, of 1424 William, Cape Girardeau, was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and traffic violations.Arrests
Ricky Scott, 20, of 808 S. Pacific, Cape Girardeau, was arrested Tuesday on Cape Girardeau warrants for resisting arrest and a Sikeston, Mo., warrant for contempt of court.
Ovell Brown Jr., 24, of 433 S. Ellis, Cape Girardeau, was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of driving while revoked.
Tracy L. Cotner, 38, of HC 62, Box 47A, Sedgewickville, Mo., was arrested Tuesday on suspicon of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Takina M. Maxwell, 22, of 535 Boxwood, Apt. 1, Cape Girardeau, was arrested Wednesday on a Scott County warrant for failure to appear and on suspicion of no proof of insurance and no use of a child restraining device.
Thefts Checks were reported stolen Tuesday at 130 S. Lorimier.
A portable CD player and cash were reported stolen Tuesday at 519 Broadway.
A white 1995 Pontiac Grand Am was reported stolen Tuesday at 12 N. Pindwood.
A dishwasher, stove, water softener, microwave and ceiling fan were reported stolen Tuesday at 2242 Sherwood.
Clothing was reported stolen Tuesday by Fred's at 121 A S. Sprigg. Angela D. Spears, 31, of 13 N. Fountain, Apt. 2, was arrested on suspicion of stealing in connection with the complaint.
Prescriptions were reported stolen Wednesday at 1003 Locust.
Property damage
A window was reported damaged Tuesday at 521 Asher.Miscellaneous
Forgery was reported Tuesday by Food Giant at 1120 N. Kingshighway.

A burglary was reported Tuesday in the 900 block of West Independence.
