Cape Girardeau
The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.
DWI
* One person was in custody for driving while intoxicated, driving while suspended and speeding.
* Matthew P. Cole, 29, of Jonesboro, Ill., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, driving while suspended and failure to wear a seat belt.
Arrests
* One person was arrested for distribution of controlled substances within 1,000 feet of a school, misrepresentation of age and consumption of alcohol by a minor.
* Brian S. Meredith, 22, of 1021 S. Ellis St., was arrested on two Cape Girardeau County warrants for probation violation
Summonses
* Robert T. Florig, 23, of St. Louis, received a summons for sale of alcohol to a minor.
* Nicole M. Meyer, 21, of Manchester, Mo., received a summons for supplying liquor to a minor.
Assaults
* An assault and disturbance of the peace were reported. A 13-year-old girl and 14-year-old girl were cited into juvenile court in connection with the complaint.
* An assault was reported.
Thefts
* Ladders were reported stolen from 1982 Longview Drive.
* A Huffy and Disney bicycle were reported stolen from 927 N. Spanish St.
* A Visa debit card and $300 cash were reported stolen from 827 S. Pacific St.
Property damage
* Property damage was reported at 1448 N. Kingshighway.
* Ruts in yard were reported at 1248 Linden St.
Miscellaneous
* An animal bite was reported at Sprigg and Maple streets.
Jackson
The following items were released by the Jackson Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.
Summonses
* Jerrett M. Ford, 25, of 512 Michael Anna St., received a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle annually, failure to show proof of insurance, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
* Scott A. Boyer, 36, of 420 Plain View Ave., received a summons for exceeding the posted speed limit and a second offense for driving while intoxicated.
Property damage
* Vandalism was reported on Odus Drive.
Miscellaneous
* Harassment was reported in the 2200 block of East Jackson Boulevard.
* Child abuse was reported in the 300 block of Broadridge Drive.
