The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.
Arrests
William H. Matlock Jr., 37, of 1305 Broadway, Apt. 1, Cape Girardeau, was arrested Monday on a Dunklin County warrant for assault.
Tonya L. Strong, 31, of 1305 Broadway, Apt. 1, Cape Girardeau, was arrested Monday on a Poplar Bluff warrant for passing a bad check, a Dunklin County warrant for fraud and a Butler County warrant for failure to appear.
A person was placed in custody Monday pending the filing of formal charges for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.
Rhea S. Vann, 25, of 604 Jefferson, Apt. 1, Cape Girardeau, was arrested Monday on a Cape Girardeau warrant for contempt of court.
Travis J. Williamson, 22, of 1898 El Rio Drive, Cape Girardeau, was arrested Monday on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear.
Lathisa M. Woods, 23, of N. Park, Apt. 1, Cape Girardeau, was arrested Monday on a Dunklin County warrant for probation violation and a Cape Girardeau County warrant for forgery.
Christopher S. Scott, 21, of 416 S. Benton, Cape Girardeau, was arrested Monday on a Sikeston, Mo., warrant for contempt of court.
Leonard E. Smallwood, 19, of P.O. Box 68, Tamms, Ill., was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of stealing.
Lamika K. Rigney, 19, of 518 S. Ellis, Cape Girardeau, was arrested Tuesday on a Scott County warrant for contempt of court.
Delandric B. Webb, 27, of 732 N. Middle, Cape Girardeau, was arrested Tuesday on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear.Summonses
Martha M. Griffith, 32, of 1542 N. Spanish, Cape Girardeau, received a summons Monday for failure to maintain a property free of litter.
Virginia L. Holman of 6234 Rhodes, St. Louis, Mo., received a summons Monday for striking a legally stopped vehicle.
Omer Creech Jr. of 1922 Sherwood, Cape Girardeau, received a summons Monday for failure to yield to oncoming traffic.
Tracy A. Hull, 28, of 33 S. Park, Cape Girardeau, received a summons Monday for failure to maintain a property free of litter.
Thefts
Clothing was reported stolen Monday at 535 Boxwood.
A checkbook was reported stolen Monday at 555 N. Sprigg.
Cash was reported stolen Monday at 2102 William.
A wallet and its contents were reported stolen Monday at 19 S. Kingshighway.
Fraudulent use of a credit device was reported Monday at 353 S. Kingshighway and 2126 Broadway.
Cash was reported stolen and equipment damaged Monday by Show Me Laundromat at 1225 William.Burglary
Cash was stolen in a burglary reported Monday at 420 S. Silver Springs.
Property damage
A vehicle was reported damaged Monday at 100 S. Silver Springs.
Miscellaneous
A dog bite was reported Monday at 14 N. Fountain.
Failure to return rental property was reported four times Tuesday by Rent-One at 610 S. Kingshighway. Furniture, a television, a computer, a surround sound system and a DVD/VCR combo were reported unreturned.Jackson

Thefts
A license plate was reported stolen Monday in the 2100 block of East Jackson Boulevard.
Mail was reported stolen Monday in the 2300 block of West Jackson Boulevard.
Merchandise was reported stolen Monday in the 100 block of South High Street.
Miscellaneous Lights were reported damaged Monday on Vera Wagner Drive.
Harassment was reported Monday in the 2000 block of Old Toll Road.
