The following items were released Monday by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrest

* Brittany D. Purl, 30, of Cape Girardeau, was arrested Tuesday at 127 S. Lorimier, on charges of manufacturing a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.

Summonses

* Kenneth E. McCraw, 54, 2310 Big Bend Highway 177, was issued a summons Tuesday for failure to secure a load.

* Angela Dittmer of Jackson was issued a summons Tuesday for failure to yield following a motor vehicle accident.

* Brian Higgins, 1717 Oak Hills, was issued a summons Tuesday for striking a legally stopped vehicle.

* Amie L. Moschetto, 647 S. Spring Ave., Apt. E, was issued a summons Tuesday for failure to show proof of insurance after a traffic accident.

* Jason A. Brashear, 31, 417 Missouri Ave., Sikeston, was issued a summons Tuesday for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

* Kevin Alexander, 1829 Margaret, was issued a summons Tuesday for driving a vehicle with expired license plates and failure to stop at a stop sign.

Assault

* A domestic assault was reported Tuesday. A subject was in custody pending filing of formal charges.

Theft

* Compact discs were reported stolen and a vehicle window broken Tuesday at 711 Clark Ave.

* Pro Auto Service reported a window broken at 200 S. Kingshighway on Tuesday.
